Every year, the technical service staff is invited to a seminar in Dakar organised by the Management department.
The objectives of the seminar are multiple and diverse. It gives colleagues who work for different customers, but who are often confronted with the same realities, the chance to meet over a few days. The seminars are an opportunity to present our expatriates with the technical, commercial and organisational evolutions of BIA and its partners. It is also the best way to optimize the communication between the various representatives of the department.
These working sessions also offer the participants the chance to get up to speed with the computer tools provided by KOMATSU and to exchange their experiences of working with them. The Komatsu Dakar Service Centre (joint team BIA-KOMATSU dedicated to technical support) is the solution in resolving specific technical problems as well as the BIA Service and Support Manual. This manual is a collection of workflows committed to the staff working at the various sites of our customers to help them carry out their tasks. It aims at standardising and at professionalizing the service provided to the customers.
The SAX seminars offer that rare and important opportunity to meet and converse with all the players in the technical service in order to promote unity within the department.
